Les Miserrable - Look Down

This is the opening scene to the blockbuster movie of the broadway musical "Les Miserable". It is set in 1815 - 26 years after the start of the French Revolution. A King is once again on the throne of France. Hugh Jackman (Wolveine) is one of the main characters. This movie (musical) does not have any diaglogue but is still classified as a musical not an opera.

Describes the colors and how they affect the revolution. This powerful song shows the courage of the young men leader the revolution and their longing for peace.

The Phantom takes Christine to his dungeon. Before this night she had never met him. He was her singing tutor since she was a young girl. She is mesmorized by his music. Christine's father had passed when she was young and the mistress of the opera house took care of her. The Phantom, from behind a mirror in her room, came to her each night as the Angel of Music (Christine thought it was her dead father coming to her). As you listen, be prepared to describe what the Angel of Music is to Christine and how the Music of the Night effects both Christine and the Phantom.
