There are 7 projects embedded on this page. Some students chose to do one of the extension options.
To view the entire melody on one page, click the double square boxes in the bottom right hand corner of the melody. This will take you to Noteflight. You will not be able to make changes or use Noteflight but you will be able to view it as it would be on a page.
Next to that icon is the printer which can be used to print the melody.
I hope you enjoy the students' compositions!
Timothy Saettel
This project included one of the extensions: more measures. Timothy completed 4 phrases instead of the required 2. He also changed the instrument sound so that you would hear a trumpet as it was written for.
Callie Belden
Robin Wilson - Video taped performance and melody in Noteflight
Robin chose to perform her melody that she composed. Below her performance is a copy of the written music. This was an extension option for the students. They could have also increased the length of their melody, added lyrics, used more advanced rhythms (permission first), and add style markings.
Katie Grisez
Alexis Underwood - Video taped performance and Noteflight Melody
Alexis chose to perform her melody that she composed. Below her performance is a copy of the written music. This was an extension option for the students. They could have also increased the length of their melody, added lyrics, used more advanced rhythms (permission first), and add style markings.
Zachery Carroll
LeAnn Karber
LeAnn plays trombone and wrote her melody in bass clef because she is more familiar with that clef. Also, she wanted to be able to play it at some time.
